College Bound Opportunities Careers in Deerfield, IL

College Bound Opportunities (CBO) coaches economically disadvantaged students to unleash their potential, graduate college, pursue meaningful professions, and inspire others to follow in their footsteps. Trained adult volunteers evaluate candidates for motivation and likely academic success evidenced by perseverance in the CBO application process and by secondary school grades. CBO’s one-on-one coaching services, help scholars navigate the college application process including visits to college campuses and applications for financial aid; complete degree requirements; and apply for jobs during college and after graduation. CBO draws its candidates from low and moderate-income families in Illinois High School District 113 and 115, from the following communities: Bannockburn Deerfield Highland Park Highwood Knollwood Lake Forest Lake Bluff And small portions of: Mettawa North Chicago
