College Access Now Careers in Seattle, WA

A college degree changes everything. At College Access Now (CAN), we believe that the pursuit and attainment of a college degree is both necessary and achievable for all high school students, regardless of their background. Our focus is on recruiting students who are not already on track for college, and helping them attend and graduate. CAN mentors build relationships with students and help them break down the process into manageable steps - offering practical and emotional support as they navigate applications, financial aid, and family obligations. CAN was founded with a commitment to provide personalized practical support for highly-motivated, low-income students in our local Seattle Public Schools. Volunteers began serving 29 high school seniors at Garfield High School in 2005.
