The mission of City of Refuge is to bring light, hope and transformation to the last, lost and least of Atlanta. Founded in 1997, City of Refuge is a 501 (c) (3) Christian ministry that provides life-saving resources and life-building tools that lead to stability and sustainability in the areas of housing, healthcare, education and employment with a primary focus on women and children experiencing homelessness. With an 8-acre campus and 210,000 square feet of renovated warehouse space, City of Refuge has the capacity to offer a “one stop shop” in the middle of the most underserved and under-resourced community in the state of Georgia. Housing, food, medical care, educational opportunities, counseling, spiritual guidance and a host of other resources are offered daily to 300 women and children who live on-campus. Hundreds of others visit the campus each month for doctor’s appointments, to use our computer lab, receive clothing or a referral letter to Grady Hospital or another agen
