In 1963, Chesterfield Federal Credit Union was organized because a handful of people believed in an idea and were willing to bring to reality a cooperative financial institution. Now, 48 years later, we have a state-of-the-art branch facility, two additional branch location, an administrative facility and over 12,500 members. Unlike other financial institutions, credit unions are owned and controlled by their members. Credit unions are not-for-profit cooperatives.
