Founded in 1992, the Charlotte Eagles Soccer Club started with the dream of two men, Brian Davidson and Rick McKinley. It was their vision to launch a club that would not only participate at some of the highest levels of soccer, but to also inspire communities locally and abroad. The dream became a reality in 1993 when the Charlotte Eagles began play as a USL Franchise in the USL’s Premier Development League. The Charlotte Eagles Soccer Club is now one of the USL’s oldest and most successful clubs in North America.
