Central Broward Water Control District is a local government agency chartered by the State of Florida to provide secondary water management and stormwater drainage in southwest Broward County. Within its 45 square mile area, this special drainage district incorporates almost 106 miles of canals that are located within 6 cities and towns, as well as unincorporated areas of Broward County. Central Broward Water Control District is dedicated to providing the best possible service to the residents of our District. To that end we have pledged to further the best interests of the public by best management practices in regard to storm water drainage and water quality in the secondary canals. It is also our aim to educate the public in the ways it may contribute to the well being of the District and thus to themselves.
