The Center for Independence through Conductive Education’s mission is to empower children with physical disabilities on their journey towards independence, with an attitude of self-help and self-determination. The Center has never turned a child away due to lack of insurance or ability to pay. However, 48% of our families served fall below the poverty line and would not be able to receive critical motor training and therapy services without the Center's financial support. Over the years, the Center has provided families with more than $8M in charitable care.
