The Center at Cordera's sister facility, The Center at Centennial opened in 2007 as a result of community members who arrived at the conclusion that the status quo in skilled inpatient rehabilitation was inadequate to satisfy patients’ needs. Prior to The Center at Centennial, patients in Colorado Springs who required skilled nursing and rehabilitation had few choices other than to be admitted to a traditional nursing home. Today, The Center at Cordera provides additional choice to patient seeking rehabilitative care in the Pikes Peak region and continues to provide world class care to its patients.
