Cascadia Velocity is a business incubator based in the southern Puget Sound. We focus on green tech, software and other tech device innovations, supporting their full commercialization. We assist new ventures by providing support programs to complement business founders skills in their technologies. Our aim is to be cost effective, efficient and convenient. For very early stage companies we typically offer a range of services for an agreed low monthly fee. For companies with established intellectual property (IP) we aim to secure a fee and equity stake giving us a vested interest in our clients. Issues we address can range from the minor (e.g., how to properly incorporate) to the more complex (how to manufacture). For some clients, it can make sense to sell or license an invention early rather than rolling the dice and taking on more funding.
