Bank @LANTEC is a full service bank providing consumer and business deposit and lending services to the Hampton Roads community. Originally founded in 1952 as a credit union serving members of the military and their families, Bank @LANTEC converted to a mutual savings bank January 2004. We are the first credit union in Virginian history and the 25th in the country to convert to a bank charter. As a mutual savings bank, we are owned by our members, giving each depositor one vote (up to 1,000) for every $100 they have with us. Our Annual meeting is held every April and all depositors are invited to join us at our headquarters. Bank @LANTEC is the only bank headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
