Bang Whitetail Ranch (BWR) is located approximately 20 minutes north of Fredericksburg, a wonderful small town of German heritage with great shopping, antiquing and dining; a great place for your wife to spend some time while you’re out hunting, if she prefers (we love having women hunt as well!). Other local attractions include Enchanted Rock (which is visible from the other end of our bluff), the Nimitz Museum, Rockbox Theatre, 20-plus wineries, and LBJ State Park to name a few. We are an hour and a half from the Austin airport and two hours from the San Antonio airport; we will gladly transport you to and from either. We are a Managed Land Permit operation, which enables us to hunt an extended season that runs from October through February.
