The City of Baltimore Development Corporation (BDC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation contracted with the City of Baltimore to provide economic development services to the city. Our mission is to retain and expand existing businesses, recruit new business to the city, while growing the city's tax base and creating jobs. BDC is organized along three core missions with corresponding divisions of Real Estate Development, Business Retention Recruitment and Expansion, and Retail Development. We operate a Small Business Resource Center and two Emerging Technology Centers. The company is led by Arnold Williams, Chairman, and Brenda McKenzie, President.
