ASK Diagnostics, Inc. (ASK) was founded based on the discovery of differential expression of a protein in latent and malignant cancer. The company is focused on developing innovative ways to screen/detect/monitor latent and active cancer in patients and to improve treatment outcomes. ASK will initially focus on developing blood based tests for the presence of both the active and latent forms of cancer in many of the current malignancies. We expect our technology to be able to differentiate between the benign and malignant form of a condition, for example, we expect the technology to be able to differentiate between patients that have pancreatitis as opposed to pancreatic cancer.
