ASINEX’s compounds appear in Literature references as well as Patents on a regular basis. Often, the fact that these compounds originate from our catalogue is explicitly mentioned in these publications. It is an important external validation of the quality and relevance of our designs for the current Drug Discovery efforts by the Drug Discovery Community. To get a complete picture of the biological activities reported for our molecules, we have performed an Overlap analysis with the ChEMBL database. ChEMBL is a manually curated chemical database of bioactive molecules with drug-like properties. ChEMBL 19, which was used for this analysis, contained 1,4M compounds with 12,8M biological activities. The activity data is extracted from ~50 peer review Journals such as Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, Bioorganic and Medicinal Chemistry Letters, or Journal of Natural Products. Based on our analysis, we have identified 60,000 ASINEX molecules to be reported as biologically active in Literature References.
