Arya's Kids - Foundation to fight Childhood Cancer. The foundation was set up in memory of my son Arya who lost his 4 year battle to cancer in April 2010. Our mission is to fight childhood cancer and find a cure. Today, cancer takes away too many kids' lives and even the ones who survive, mostly continue to suffer from the dire side effects of treatment. Our specific focus is to fund research to develop new therapies for directing the immune system to respond to the difference between cancer cells and normal cells. The immune system then does the work of traditional cancer drugs with minimal side effects. Yes, we know these are ambitious goals. But, we are dreamers. We strongly believe that with proper research these dreams can be realized. Please join us in fulfilling this mission. Together, WE CAN DEFEAT CANCER.
