American Institute Of Armorial Studies Careers in Chicago, IL

The American Institute of Armorial Studies was founded to give Americans with an interest in heraldry, armory, and related historical subjects a place to continue learning. The Institute has a well-developed distance learning program leading to certificates and diplomas in armorial studies. It also offers a selection of day, evening, and weekend courses. Though it is currently offering these programs without accreditation, the Institute is pursuing accreditation with both the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) and the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools Higher Learning Commission (NCA-HLC). When these accrediting processes are complete, the programs of the AIAS will gain even more international recognition as valuable qualifications for armorial researchers.
