ARE Inc. is a community-based 501(c) (3) classified non-profit organization which was incorporated in Richmond, Virginia on May 24, 1991. ARE Inc. began out of a movement to provide support for those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS and their friends and families. Through outstanding performance and innovative programs in delivering direct client services and education to persons living with HIV/AIDS ARE Inc. has become one of the leaders in service provision in the LFHD7 service areas covering Winchester City, Frederick, Clarke, Warren, Shenandoah and parts of Page Counties.
