Accion Texas Inc. is a nonprofit, multi-state micro- and small business lender headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. We offer microloans from $500 to $50,000; small business loans up to $250,000; and, in Texas only through the SBA 504 loan program, we can make larger business loans up to $5.5 million. Accion Texas Inc. opened in San Antonio in 1994, where we've supported more than 9,200 local small businesses with more than 3,500 loans totaling $34.5 million. Over time, we have grown to operate 20 offices in eight states and to date have disbursed more than 13,400 loans totaling $143 million in Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee and Texas.
