3rd Consulting is the result of a mating of the entrepreneurial spirit of its President and Founder Milton N. Ward III and his 15 years of professional experience in financial management in both the private and public sector. This experience has led to the understanding that many organizations are struggling with what they perceive to be an “accounting or financial management problem” when in actuality the “problem” involves processes and controls that often go beyond the accounting or finance function. This is why 3rd Consulting will provide Business Process Improvement (BPI) and Business Process Reengineering (BPR) management consulting services to government clients at both the federal, state and local level. As a startup begun in July 2011 the company operates as a sole proprietorship organized as a Limited Liability Company (LLC). Mr. Ward has a Masters degree in accounting, is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
