Full Time Kitchen Assistant Jobs in Whisk Bellevue, WA

Responsibilities:

• Whisk is seeking energetic and service-focused kitchen assistants to support cooking classes and maintain a clean kitchen environment
• This part-time role involves preparing ingredients, assisting guests, and collaborating with team members to ensure a positive experience for all participants
• The position is ideal for individuals who enjoy a dynamic work environment and have a passion for food and customer service
• Support the mise en place of all ingredients and tools for cooking classes under the guidance of the chef instructor
• Wash, chop, and portion out ingredients; set up cooking stations; and anticipate guests' needs during class sessions
• Greet guests as they enter the kitchen and ensure they have the necessary tools and ingredients throughout the class
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and tidy kitchen environment before, during, and after each class
• Collect used dishware, hand wash dishes, load and unload dishwashers, sweep floors, and carry trash and recycling to dumpsters

Qualifications:

• Basic math skills for common kitchen tasks
• Sanitation knowledg
• High school diploma or GED
• Food Handler Certification (must obtain before starting)
• Ability to be active for 5 - 7 hours per shift
• Pastry experience
• Experience in meal preparation
