We need your help to build web applications which will be used by people all over the country, from local governments to large corporations. Our applications have helped policymakers create affordable housing, transportation agencies report road conditions, and businesses find optimal locations for new stores.

Skills:

• Experience with Figma or equivalent (Adobe XD, Photoshop, etc)
• Experience with Ember (legacy applications)
• Experience with .NET Core (legacy applications)
• Write HTML/CSS/JSX for web front-ends
• Build client-side functionality using JavaScript and modern frameworks (React)
• Build interactive maps using Leaflet, Google Maps, Mapbox, OpenLayers, or Esri
• Build/maintain RESTful backends using Node.js
• Build a process to sync data into a DB on a nightly basis
• Assist with the design of SQL databases
• Deploy and maintain web apps using Google Cloud Platform or Amazon Web Services
• Design UI and UX workflows for an upcoming web application or new feature in an existing one
• Discuss pros/cons of different development approaches with a project manager or client
• Open-source technology is at the core of most of our solutions. Many of our engineers contribute to open-source projects and present at conferences.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Full-stack development 1 year (Preferred)
