Event Coordinator Job Description
We’re seeking a full-time Events Coordinator for a well-known banquet & dining venue.
Responsibilities: Coordinate weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and private functions. Handle client communication, contracts, and event day logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate all aspects of private events, including weddings, birthdays, corporate functions, and banquets
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients — from initial inquiry through execution
Conduct site visits, prepare proposals, and manage event contracts
Collaborate with the kitchen and service teams to design menus, seating layouts, and event timelines
Oversee setup, décor, AV, and logistics on the day of the event
Ensure smooth communication between clients, vendors, and staff
Maintain event records, budgets, and reports
Assist in marketing efforts for banquet/event bookings
Qualifications:
Previous experience in event coordination, hospitality, or banquet sales preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Professional, detail-oriented, and customer-service focused
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules
Fluency in Punjabi or Hindi strongly preferred (to better serve our South Asian clientele)
