Role Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, secure, and optimize our database systems. The DBA will be responsible for installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup, recovery, and ensuring the availability and security of critical business data.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB as per requirement).
Monitor and optimize database performance, availability, and scalability.
Manage database security (user roles, privileges, encryption, access control).
Implement and monitor backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
Perform regular health checks, tuning queries, and optimizing indexing/partitioning.
Support database design, schema management, and data modeling for applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve database incidents, bottlenecks, and errors.
Automate database tasks using scripts (SQL, Shell, Python, PowerShell).
Collaborate with developers to optimize SQL queries and ensure application performance.
Stay updated with patches, upgrades, and latest database features.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2–5 years of experience as a DBA (junior/mid-level depending on role).
Strong knowledge of SQL and database internals.
Hands-on experience with at least one major RDBMS: Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
