Orlando stands tall among other states, empowering employment:

We’ve had record employment the last three years, but this year is different because many employers surveyed said their low compensation isn’t attracting new workers and current talent are leaving for companies with more vibrant compensation packages,” said Roger Lear, president and CEO of OrlandoJobs.com.

Orlando breaks records, sets off a new benchmark in the employment race, to a staggering number of 1.35 million workers were employed for the month of March.

Reversal:

Orlando with an average household income of $52,385, is predicted to increase in the future, since employees demand their employers for a salary hike or job shift due to the demanding employment requirement. A report states that, employees with low wages are given a proportional hike considering their performance.

Despite increase in wages in many fields, in construction and extraction field Orlando ranks second last in the USA with an hourly wage of $28.95 an hour.

“One of our biggest challenges right now is that it’s definitely an employees’ market," said Bridget Simon, a recruitment manager at timeshare company Diamond Resorts. "The employees are shopping jobs like a consumer.”

On the other hand, Disney employees demanded a $15 per hour raise in their salary and employers and organizations fear the growth and hike rates.

Ghosting:

Some employers complain that the employees and new hires are vanishing in the middle of hiring process or after a while in search of new jobs, the recruiters thought ghosting was a thing in dating but now it’s happening in Hiring.

“We thought it was a dating thing,” Blanco, said, “well, it’s alive and well in the hiring process.”

According to BLS, “As of February, the rate of workers quitting jobs in the United States had increased to pre-recession levels. The rate is highest in the Southern U.S. region that includes Florida, at 2.7 percent”

“As individuals have more job skills, they are feeling more comfortable with the economy and they are thinking, ‘This is probably a good time to make some moves,’” Blanco said.

In conclusion, the Orlando Economic Partnership, believes that the seven-county region — including Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Brevard, Polk and Volusia counties — is expected to grow by more than 1,500 people every week through 2030.

The stakes have the raise for employees looking for new opportunity meanwhile few profession still deplete in the hourly wages.
