Software Engineer Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced, full-time Software Engineer to join our team. This role requires a diverse skill set, including system engineering, aerospace engineering, software development, and system administration. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of developing, integrating, testing, and troubleshooting software.

Required Education and Qualifications:

BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering with a strong software background,
7-10 years' relevant experience.
Candidates with advanced degrees but fewer years' experience will also be considered

This position requires access to and use of ITAR-controlled technology; Candidate must be a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident

Required Experience:

Advanced software development skills, particularly in C/C++, Python, or C#/Java
Computer networking systems and protocols
Build, test, and deployment automation

Preferred Experience:

Windows, Linux, Jenkins, Docker, compiler toolchains, database systems, and scripting languages
Desktop applications, real-time embedded applications, and safety-critical software development
Qt framework/QML
2D/3D graphics and rendering pipelines
Application performance monitoring and analysis
Unit testing, test driven development, and test automation
Instrumentation and control systems
DevOps and Agile / Scrum
Space vehicle mission operations
Configuration management and source code management systems
