PositionOverview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee the daily financialoperationsofthecompany.Thisroleinvolvesmanagingateamofaccountants,ensuringaccuratefinancialreporting,anddrivingprocessimprovementstosupportthecompany'sfinancialobjectives.TheAccountingManagerwillcollaboratewithvariousdepartmentstoensurealignmentwithcompany-widegoalsandregulatorycompliance.
KeyResponsibilities:
AccountsPayable&Receivable:AssisttheAP/ARprocesses,ensuringtimelyinvoicing,collections,andvendorpayments.
TeamManagement:Leadandmentortheaccountingteam,providingguidanceandsupporttoensureoptimalperformanceandprofessionaldevelopment.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiencies in accounting procedures, ensuringtheteamusesbestpracticesandtechnologies.
Financial Reporting: Assist with the preparation of accurate financial statements, includingbalancesheets,incomestatements,andcashflowstatements,ensuringtimelymonthly,quarterly,andannualreporting.
Cross-DepartmentCollaboration:PartnerwithotherdepartmentssuchasFinance,Sales,andOperationstoensurefinancialalignmentacrossthebusiness.
Budgeting&Forecasting:Assistinthepreparationofannualbudgetsandperiodicforecasts;analyzevariancesandprovideinsightstomanagement.
Qualifications:
Education:Bachelor’sdegreeinaccounting,finance,orrelatedfield(CApreferred).
Experience:Minimumof5+yearsofprogressiveaccountingexperiencewithatleast2yearsinamanagerialorsupervisoryrole.
TechnicalSkills:Proficientinaccountingsoftware(e.g.,OuickBooks)andMicrosoftExcel.
Knowledge:StrongunderstandingofGAAP,taxregulations,andauditprocesses.
Leadership:Provenabilitytomanage,mentor,anddevelopateam.
AnalyticalSkills:Excellentproblem-solvingabilitieswithakeenattentiontodetailandaccuracy.
Communication:Strongverbalandwrittencommunicationskillstoeffectivelyinteractwithbothfinancialandnon-financialstakeholders.
PreferredOualifications:
Experienceinaccounting.CApreferred.
Familiaritywithfinancialplanningandanalysis(FP&A).
