Staff Accountant Jobs in Modular Services Company Oklahoma City, OK

The Staff Accountant position is responsible for a wide range of Accounting disciplines including, but not limited to, accounts payable, invoicing, bank reconciliation, payroll review and posting, 1099 processing, multi-state sales tax filing, etc. This position will also be the back-up for the Controller and will be cross-trained in a variety of more complex/technical tasks performed by the Controller. Experience in manufacturing accounting and/or automating processes is a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•  Accounts Payable duties
•  Process 1099's
•  Sales Invoice review, posting and maintaining supporting documentation
•  Sales Tax filing in multiple states
•  Assist with General Ledger account reconciliation/preparation
•  Bank reconciliation/preparations
•  Credit Card processing
•  Payroll review and posting
  
  

Prerequisites and Qualifications for Position:

•  Bachelor's degree in Accounting (a transcript of grades will be required)
•  Minimum of 3 years of Accounting experience (manufacturing accounting preferred)
•  Intermediate or advanced user level of Excel 2013 or later
•  Highly organized and thorough
•  Trustworthy with confidential information
•  Ability to deal with stress and deadlines
