Staff Accountant Jobs in CentraState Healthcare System Freehold, NJ

CentraState Healthcare System is seeking an Staff Accountant. Staff Accountant performs statistical and accounting duties for assigned entities of CentraState Healthcare System.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates reporting, interface and training of all financial computer systems.
• Prepares accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP and within the necessary time frames.
• Accurately prepares tax forms including Form 990 returns and submits within the necessary time frames.
• Prepares accurate analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts. Prepares monthly inter-company reconciliation.
• Prepares audit schedules in accordance with external audit time frames. Provides auditors with necessary supporting schedules.
• Identifies procedures needing improvement and recommends appropriate correction action to management.
• Prepares accurate bank reconciliation by investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
• 3 Years Accounting in a Healthcare Facility desired
• Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team.
