Software Engineer Jobs in HIFI Bridge New York, NY

This is a full-time on-site role for a Software Engineer. As a Founding Software Engineer at HIFI Bridge, you will be responsible for the development of back-end web applications using your skills in computer science and software development. You will also be responsible for programming, object-oriented programming (OOP), and maintaining and updating our codebase to ensure optimal performance.

What You Will Do:

• Lead the design and development of scalable and robust software solutions for our crypto payment platform, including transaction processing, wallet management, and security features.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using industry best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to architectural guidelines.
• Identify and address software bugs, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities through testing, debugging, and optimization.
• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of software applications.
  
  

Key skills include:

• AWS Cloud Architecture: Experience with AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Kinesis, and Lambda, is essential. You will be designing, implementing, and managing robust cloud-based solutions for our platform.
• Front-End Development: Proficiency in React JS, with solid data visualization skills. Your role will include creating user-friendly interfaces and ensuring seamless user interactions.
• Web Development & Server Analytics: Expertise in web development for custom URL tracking and server analytics. Your ability to monitor and optimize performance will play a key role in our growth.
• Back-End Development: Strong back-end skills are necessary, particularly in Python or JavaScript. You will be responsible for server-side application logic, integration, and more
• In addition to these technical skills, we value proactive communicators who can collaborate efficiently within a small team. Prior experience in a startup or working in blockchain will be considered a premium.

Qualification:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, with a demonstrated track record as a builder
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Past work on crypto projects or side hobbies you have built yourself preferred
• Blockchain & payments experience is highly preferred
• Prior startup experience at an early or mid-stage tech company
