Quality Assurance Automation Engineer Jobs in JM Bullion Dallas, TX

This is a full-time hybrid Quality Assurance Engineer role, based in Dallas, TX. Reporting to our Manager of DevOps, the Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for delivering high-quality automation scripts, test applications, and tools to support the core QA and application deployment function. This includes responsibilities such as:

• Define and maintain QA and test plans for traceability and accountability.
• Collaborate with the development team and product owners on test requirements.
• Write and execute test plans as part of the development lifecycle.
• Automate tests for core application features and functionality.
• Automate regression, failure case, edge case tests.
• Conduct performance, peak load, and OS/browser compatibility tests.
• Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis.
• Adept at efficiently understanding business processes to provide better support and testing.
• Proactively identify opportunities for improved test automation.
• Typical work is handled in 40 hours Monday through Friday, however longer hours to include evening and weekend work may be required as job responsibilities necessitate from time to time.
• Good clarity of speech and communication capabilities with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Team player with the ability to communicate and work effectively with a multi-disciplined team.

What you need:

• Required 3+ years’ experience in functional testing and QA on large, customized applications with B2C eCommerce and ERP applications experience preferred.
• Foundational knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Must have experience writing test strategy, test plan documents, and test execution.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with automated testing tools such as TestNG, Serenity BDD, Selenium, Appium, LoadRunner, etc.
• Experience with TestRail is a plus.
• 2+ years’ experience working in Java is required.
• Technical knowledge and understanding of PHP and PHP frameworks, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS and DOM, MySQL, and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Experience integrating automation with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) a big plus.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering Information System, or equivalent work experience.
