Responsibilities:

• Transform complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Build efficient data models and visualizations using Power BI Desktop.
• Write DAX expressions and use Power Query for data transformation.
• Integrate data from various sources (SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, Azure, etc.).
• Perform ETL processes to prepare data for reporting.
• Optimize report performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements.
• Manage Power BI service: publishing, scheduling, workspaces, and access control.
• Implement role-level security and ensure data governance standards are met.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience.
• Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M language), and SQL.
• Experience with enterprise databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Azure SQL).
• Strong understanding of BI concepts, data modeling, and ETL.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse, or SSIS.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis (optional).
• Experience integrating APIs with Power BI.
• Microsoft Power BI certification (e.g., PL-300) is a plus.
