Behind-the-Wheel Driving Instructor Jobs in Leander, TX by Top Level Recruiter

Provide one-on-one behind-the-wheel instruction using dual-control vehicles. Teach vehicle control, defensive driving, parking techniques, and navigation of city traffic, highways, and neighborhoods. Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. Maintain accurate records of lesson details and student progress. Ensure the training vehicle is clean, safe, and well-maintained; report any issues promptly. Communicate with students—and parents, if applicable—to discuss session outcomes and next steps. Valid Texas driver’s license (minimum 3 years held) with a clean driving record. Must be US Citizen. Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills. Comfortable driving in diverse conditions—urban, residential, and highway—day and night. Available during afternoons, evenings, and weekends for flexible scheduling. Preferred: Driving instructor certification or willingness to obtain one.
