.NET Developer Job Description
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain web and desktop applications using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.
Build RESTful APIs, Web Services, and Microservices to support enterprise applications.
Work with databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or NoSQL) to design schemas, write queries, and optimize performance.
Develop and maintain front-end components using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, or frameworks like Angular/React (if applicable).
Participate in all phases of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) — requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate with business analysts, testers, and other developers to deliver quality solutions on time.
Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
Perform code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
Work with Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to sprint planning and daily standups.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
3–8 years of hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, and Entity Framework.
Strong experience in Web API development and integration.
Proficiency with SQL Server (stored procedures, triggers, performance tuning).
Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
Experience with version control systems (Git, TFS, or Azure DevOps).
Good knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular/React preferred).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
