We are currently seeking a motivated and highly skilled Data Engineer to join our growing team in New York, NY. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of our IT Software / Services department, where innovation and continuous growth are the focal points. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and organizing data, analyzing complex data systems and elements, and developing algorithms to make raw data more useful to the enterprise. This role requires a deep understanding of data science, IT software, data warehousing, and big data management.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop, construct, test, and maintain architectures such as databases and large-scale processing systems.
• Discover opportunities for data acquisition and develop data set processes for data modeling, mining, and production.
• Collaborate with the IT Software team to implement data strategies, build data flows, and develop conceptual data models.
• Create custom software components and analytics applications using Java, SQL, Python, and Data Stage.
• Employ a variety of languages and tools to marry systems together.

Salary

The salary for this position ranges from $95,000 to $115,000 yearly, depending on experience and qualifications. This role is available for W2-Permanent, W2-Contract, and Full Time.

Qualifications

• 3 - 7 years of experience in IT Software / Services
• US Citizen, Green Card, EAD / TN, H4, L2, STEM, OPT
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Skills

• Expertise in Java, SQL, Python, and Data Stage
• Deep understanding of Big Data and Data Warehousing
• Ability to analyze complex data systems and develop algorithms
• Strong understanding of various data structures and common methods in data transformation
