Developer Job Description

The Netsuite Developer combines strong analysis and problem solving skills with business knowledge to support and facilitate the troubleshooting of Netsuite. Responsibilities include analyzing business processes and procedures; proposing appropriate solutions and improvement; ensuring end users are trained on proper utilization of Netsuite

Essential Job Functions:

Manage and maintain the NetSuite system including user setup, roles, permissions, and configurations, including periodic review and adjustment
Develop, test and deploy customizations, custom objects, third party tools / applications and new NetSuite functionality based on evolving business needs
Create and edit dashboards, saved searches, reports, workflows, KPIs, forms, etc.
Create and edit complex searches and reports including distribution to recipients (scheduled, automatic delivery
Develop, document, and implement SOPs and guidelines to ensure data integrity and change protocols
Perform regular system audits and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency
Manage integrations between NetSuite and other systems
Provide ongoing training and support to end-users on the NetSuite system
Work as primary point of contact for issues related to NetSuite system
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NetSuite system updates and best practices

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

3-5 years of hands on experience with Netsuite and a deep understanding of its capabilities
Web development and coding
Experience updating, integrating, and working with a variety of 3rd party Netsuite Models
Expertise in designing, building, and testing workflows according to business needs
Ability to understand and translate business problems and requirements into viable solutions through changes in processes, procedures, training, and documentation
Proven ability to work as a leader on cross-functional teams
Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
