Accounts Payable Specialist Jobs in Perry Homes Houston, TX

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for performing day to day financial transactions including, verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.

Responsibilities:

• Perform data entry and completes payments by receiving, processing, and verifying of invoices.
• Calculating, posting business transactions and bank deposits.
• Processing of Journal Entries
• Processing of General Ledgers
• Bank Check Deposits
• Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
• Generate payment to vendors on a routine schedule and match the check with backup for review.
• Ensuring utility bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
• Develop and maintain a filing system for financial information, records, and documents to easily ensure availability.
• Sort and distribute daily incoming mail and inter-company correspondence.
• Performs other duties as required to support the Payables Department.
  
  

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Requires a minimum of 2 years Accounts Payable experience.
• MS Dynamics (D365) Experience
• 10-key by touch (speed and accuracy).
• Experience working with computerized Accounts Payable systems required.
• Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
