Accounts Payable Specialist Jobs in Flow-Zone Rosharon, TX

We have an Oil & Gas company located in Rosharon Texas who is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is self-driven when performing duties.

• Process accounts payable which includes maintaining verifying invoices, matching purchase orders/packing slips and entering into Accounting system.
• Accounts Payable Position Responsibilities
• Processing vendor invoices for data entry into INFOR.
• Matching invoices to supporting documentation (contracts, P.O’s, packing slips, etc.) and agreeing terms and checking for appropriate authorization
• Obtaining the necessary authorizations.
• Liaising with external suppliers and internal departments as required to resolve issues
• Resolve all discrepancies that may occur during verification process by maintaining contacts with suppliers and internal contacts
• Investigating issues, respond to vendor enquiries
• Reconciling accounts as necessary
  
  

Accounts Payable Position Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 2--year college degree preferred
• Ability to prioritize & multitask, effective under tight timelines, and eye for details
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Resourceful and capable of accessing information from various sources and systems
• Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, Outlook Express
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Semi-monthly pay periods
