Java Backend Developer Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and databases with a focus on performance, reliability, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and consume RESTful APIs for integration with front-end and third-party systems.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and business teams to deliver features.
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues in production.
Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to store, manage, and retrieve data efficiently.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Strong knowledge of Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, etc.).
Hands-on experience with REST APIs and Microservices.
Proficiency in databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB).
Experience with version control (Git) and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
