Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic IT Software team in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will be integral to our software development process, leveraging their expertise in Java, Python, QTP / Selenium, and automation testing. Working in an Agile environment, you will ensure the quality of our products and contribute to our commitment to continuous improvement.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.

Salary

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000 yearly. The final offer will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• 2-7 years of experience in IT Software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be a US Citizen, Green Card holder, H4, L2, STEM, or OPT.
• Ability to work in W2-Permanent, W2-Contract, or Full-Time positions.

Skills

• Proficient in Java and Python, with an ability to solve complex problems.
• Experienced in using QTP / Selenium for automation testing.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
