Job Overview

We are currently looking for a dynamic QA Automation Engineer to join our team in New York, NY. The successful candidate will play a key role in our innovative IT Software/Services team. This position is available for W2-Permanent, W2-Contract, and Full-Time.

Job Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
• Monitor debugging process results.
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.

Salary

The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $98,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• 2-7 years of experience in IT Software or a related field.
• Must be a US Citizen, Green Card Holder, H4, L2, STEM, or OPT.

Skills

• Proficiency in Java: Must be able to effectively use Java for various tasks.
• Knowledge of Python: Must be able to use Python for scripting and automation tasks.
• Experience with QTP/Selenium: Must be able to use these tools for test automation.
• Strong knowledge of automation testing: Ability to develop and execute automation scripts.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies: Experience in Agile development is an asset.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies.
