Application Developer Jobs in Pzena Investment Management New York, NY

We are looking for an Applications Developer to join our team who will be key to helping Pzena Investment Management work better and smarter. You will collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Implementers, and Data Managers to build ETL pipelines against various data sources, develop custom in-house applications to improve efficiency, provide automations to reduce manual work, and implement, maintain, and support in-house applications. You will have an opportunity to learn and leverage Markit EDM, the company's enterprise data management platform. You will work with all departments on project definition, design, and implementation.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2-6+ years of experience in developing intuitive, high-performance, high-availability data and business intelligence platforms data and business intelligence platforms
• Proficiency in writing and understanding complex SQL queries on MS SQL Server
• Knowledge of C# and .NET platform
• Skilled in data analysis and refactoring
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience at an asset/investment manager
• Experience with Enterprise Data Management Tools (e.g., Markit EDM or similar)
• Experience building ETL pipelines for inbound and outbound system feeds (e.g. FactSet, IDC, Refinitiv, etc)
• Experience with reporting systems (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SSRS)
• Experience in Relational Database Design and Development
