Position Summary
The Store Operations Lead supports daily store functions, ensuring smooth operations, high-quality products, and outstanding service. This role balances leadership duties with hands-on work in all areas of the store, including front-of-house, kitchen, and inventory.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely service.

• Lead shifts by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and supporting team members.

• Assist with staff scheduling and shift coverage when needed.

• Maintain inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies.

• Ensure donuts are prepared to Duck Donuts standards and quality checks are performed.

• Greet and serve customers, process orders, and handle payments.

• Keep store clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety guidelines.

• Resolve minor customer concerns quickly and professionally.

• Report any major issues, incidents, or equipment problems to the owner.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service, retail, or hospitality preferred, but not required.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to lead a small team and keep operations running smoothly.

• Reliable, punctual, and organized.

• Willingness to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
