Property Manager Job Description
PSG Group of companies founded in Austin,Tx on 2006 with a vision to provide IT services and then moved to Realty Investments - Commercial/Residential, Farms, Hospitality, Entertainment, Foreign Sales and Acquisitions, Builders & Developers and 501 C(3) Charity Organizations under this umbrella.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of properties, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Handle tenant complaints or concerns in a professional and responsive manner.
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, ensuring work is performed as per standards.
- Communicate with the landlord regarding any statements or repair-related questions.
- Coordinate repairs based on tenant requests and ensure timely resolution.
- Manage property inventory and ensure adequate supplies are available.
- Maintain a qualified vendor list and establish relationships with trusted service providers.
- Work closely with vendors and contractors to obtain quotes and schedule maintenance or repairs.
- Pay all repair invoices and property-related bills in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure the upkeep of property standards.
- Coordinate move-in and move-out activities, including property condition evaluation, rekeying, professional cleaning, and other make-ready tasks.
- Collaborate with the Bookkeeper to enter income and expenses into the online software.
- Must have a personal mode of transportation to travel to properties and perform required tasks.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Property Manager or in a similar role within the real estate industry.
- Experience in managing 1-4 family residential properties; experience in commercial property management is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of property management software, specifically Appfolio; familiarity with other property management software is also beneficial.
- Texas Real Estate License is a plus.
- Spanish-speaking skills are a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Email, Word, Excel) and comfortable using property management software.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
