This position is responsible for performing a range of general clerical, accounting and bookkeeping support functions within the Company with commitment to and promotion of the ‘NCS Promise’. This role is hybrid work from home with the expectation to work from the office an average of three days per week.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Prepare and submit customer invoices
- Research and submit credit/debit memos for AR
- Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and delayed payment
- Review, verify, and process accounts receivable invoices and collection data
- Maintain and create customers within the ERP system
- Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices
- Perform filing and general administrative tasks
- Liaise with customers
- Assist Sales team with invoice issues
- Support and uphold HS&E policies and procedures of NCS and the customer
- Align individual goals with NCS corporate goals, while adhering to the NCS Promise
- Participate in your Personal Development for Success (PDS)
- Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in clerical accounting
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of/ experience using accounting software
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Word required
- Upholds a high standard of ethical conduct
- Seeks to understand role in team – strive for the good of the team
