Release Engineer Job Description

Job Summary:

We are hiring a Build & Release Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to manage, automate, and improve our software build and release processes. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and automation tools, ensuring smooth and reliable software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain build, release, and deployment pipelines across environments.
Automate build and deployment processes using CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, CircleCI).
Ensure version control management using Git and enforce branching strategies.
Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to support release cycles.
Monitor builds and deployments, troubleshoot failures, and optimize performance.
Maintain documentation for release notes, deployment steps, and configuration.
Ensure compliance, security, and rollback plans during releases.
Support continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
