Machine Learning Researcher Job Description

Join Lambda as a 2025 Summer Machine Learning Research Intern (on-site, between May - September) to advance generative AI by developing datasets, designing models, and enhancing evaluation methods. Leverage Lambda’s compute resources to produce impactful research through publications and open-source contributions.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. student in Computer Science or related field, focusing on machine learning.
Experience publishing in top-tier ML conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, Siggraph).
Skilled in PyTorch, or similar frameworks.
Strong communication skills.
Contributions to open-source projects.
Experience with generative AI (e.g., large language models, diffusion models, multi-modality models).
Experience with designing dataset pipelines and benchmarks.
Experience with training foundation models and optimizing the efficiency of ML workloads.
