Responsibilities:
- Build and integrate web applications within the existing AFMED website data definition libraries, security infrastructure, navigation structure, database structure, and design methodology
- Build and integrate web applications into the existing data definition library. Rules and common practices will also be defined for creating and modifying tables for controlling what data is stored in which tables
- Build and integrate web applications into the existing, role-based security framework to support defined privileges and roles
- Access to security will be based on a combination of network and application security. This aspect is extremely critical as it involves the protection of personnel records
- Build and integrate web applications into the existing website navigation structure. Navigation maps and an action plan will be used to outline the structure and goal of the project, showing connections and relationships from one page to others. Elements such as styles (e.g., buttons, bars, plain text links, animated graphics, etc.), primary and secondary navigation, colors, alignment, and repetition and consistency, will also need to be defined
- Build and integrate web applications into the existing design methodology and framework to ensure requirements are met and adherence to timelines.
- Meet with the Government program manager at least quarterly, and as often as deemed necessary
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science or Information Systems, or five (5) years of programming experience
- Two years of experience programming in React TypeScript, Ext JS, .NET Framework with C#, Extensible Markup Language, JavaScript Object Notation, Structured Query Language, Hypertext Markup Language, and object-oriented design
- Two years of application experience with security (roles, authentication), user-defined functions, structured reporting, rich and dynamic form generation model-view controller web services and Application Programming Interfaces
