Software Engineer Job Description

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Engineering.

Responsibility:

Write high quality code that is easy to maintain and test
Architect, implement and maintain services, define and ensure SLOs
Work with world class telemetry systems and make data informed decisions
Think through how systems will scale and fail as they grow, and ensure observability
Collaborate with fellow engineers on designs and code reviews
Take complicated problems and break them down in to bite sized pieces
Proactively identify and raise issues that may impact delivery commitments
Troubleshoot and fix production issues, and maintain the codebase

What You Bring:

Preferred:

Experience with Microsoft technology stack (C#, .NET), XML, JSON, NoSQL Databases
Experience with KQL, PromQL, SQL, or similar query languages to gain insights
Knowledge and experience in high scale, highly available (99.99+) systems
Experience shipping highly available, scalable services on Azure
Curiosity and ability to learn new technologies and tool sets
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
Excellent problem solving skills
