Salesforce Developer Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and implement customized solutions within the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs, as well as a deep understanding of CRM processes and integrations.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy custom applications, enhancements, and integrations on the Salesforce platform.
Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
Develop and maintain workflows, validation rules, triggers, and custom objects.
Integrate Salesforce with third-party applications via APIs, REST/SOAP web services.
Work closely with business analysts, admins, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Ensure data integrity, security, and performance optimization across Salesforce applications.
Conduct unit testing, debugging, and deployment using CI/CD pipelines.
Stay up to date with Salesforce releases, best practices, and new features.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Salesforce development experience.
Strong knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL.
Experience with Salesforce APIs, REST/SOAP web services, and integrations.
Proficiency in Salesforce configuration (objects, fields, workflows, flows, and page layouts).
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, and deployment processes.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Skills
Salesforce Platform Developer I / II Certification.
Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Marketing Cloud.
Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS for UI customization.
Familiarity with AppExchange apps and integration tools (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi).
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
