Salesforce Developer Job Description
Job Summary:
Design, build, and maintain custom applications, features, and integrations on the Salesforce platform. Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while ensuring peak system performance and usability.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop custom functionality using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and JavaScript frameworks.
Implement integrations with external systems via REST/SOAP/Bulk APIs.
Collaborate with stakeholders (sales, support, marketing) to gather requirements and deliver CRM enhancements.
Create and execute test plans, debug code, and ensure proper code coverage and performance.
Maintain technical documentation, provide user support, and stay current with Salesforce releases and best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience with Apex, SOQL, Lightning Components, and Salesforce declarative tools.
Strong understanding of data modeling, security models, and DevOps/CI-CD for Salesforce.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred: Salesforce certifications (e.g. Platform Developer I/II), experience with integrations (MuleSoft, Boomi).
